Laundry Software: 30% More Volume, 0% Cost

Our aim is to improve the processes of our clients so they can take better care of their clients. One important aspect of that quest is the optimization of laundry software. That’s why we created our in-house suite of laundry software. One is a control for washers/dryers called Smart Control; the other is a management information system, Laundry Intelligence (along with the Vartex App).

After a case study, performed by Schneider Electric, at one of our major clients (ELIS), user of all three of our Smart products, the results below are established:

You get to control the way you clean your linen. In Smart Control, you can very easily put together a tailor-made washing program. This way you choose the correct water use, dosage, duration of the dosage, etc. The program you designed is then saved; the next time you are just a single touch away from a successful batch!

This allows you to ensure ecologically responsible water use. Research shows that you can save water by 34% when a 68 kg machine is with 45 kg of linen.There’s one condition though: the water needs to match the load. Unfortunately, this is not the case in reality; in fact, coordinating water and load is not as easy with standard machine controls. However, that changes with Smart Control, which enables you to easily tailor your water usage to your load. All it takes, is just a few touches.

Advanced Insights

Next, Laundry intelligence shows the manager the exact consumption and costs on his smartphone, desktop and tablet. After each batch, he can precisely see what the total costs (including consumption and manpower) are. And if the washer or dryer consumes more resources than necessary, the manager receives a notification. Again, you can turn to Smart Control to adjust the parameters.
