After an efficient and fast wash cycle, the LG professional dryer provides an optimized and hygienic drying cycle. Through the combination of precise temperature control and constant airflow, textiles are dried evenly while maintaining quality. This approach matches professional standards, where fast turnaround times and reliable hygiene are essential.

Designed for hygiene at the highest level

During the special Hygiene Program, the temperature is increased to 68 °C.

This high temperature is effective in removing bacteria, fungi and viruses as they are eliminated when exposed to more than 58°C for 30 minutes.

*Tested by Intertek: removes 99.9% of bacteria on the Giant electric dryer’s ‘High Temp’ cycle (40 minutes)

Bacteria tested: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus.

Test load: IEC load, 3.75 kg (2 sheets, 6 pillowcases, 19 towels – towels used for weight adjustment).

Sensor Dry

Do not dry longer than necessary

Sensor Dry uses an electrode sensor that automatically measures the moisture content in the textile and adjusts the total drying time accordingly. Thus, each program gets exactly the time needed for optimal drying results, without excessive drying or unnecessary energy consumption. This also further extends the life of your linen.

This technology is based on a resistance measurement: wet fabrics conduct electricity better than dry fabrics. As soon as the textile contains less moisture, the electrical resistance changes and the dryer automatically adjusts the remaining drying time.

Optimized temperature control

The dryer is equipped with four temperature control sensors – a thermostat and thermistor – that automatically regulate the temperature to prevent overheating and detect blockages in the duct and lint filter.

The FlowSense air duct indicator alerts the user when it is time to clean the air ducts and lint filters.

BLDC Motor

For those who want to dry faster and more efficiently

The BLDC motor regulates the active airflow (RPM) based on the drying stage and the outlet temperature (3 speeds), achieving efficient drying results.

At the beginning of the drying cycle, a low speed (1,750 RPM) is used to quickly increase the temperature. After that, the speed is automatically adjusted according to the outlet temperature (2,300 or 2,400 RPM).

Easy maintenance

Removable front cover

Because both the LG Giant and Titan professional washers and dryers can be disassembled from the front of the unit, most maintenance and service work can be done right on site – without moving the unit.
