Direct-Drive Motor
DD motor stands for “Direct Drive motor,” which refers to a motor that is directly coupled to the drum, without using a transmission system such as a gear or belt, as in traditional motors.
LG Electronics first introduced Direct Drive technology to the market in 1998 by applying it in washing machines. Since then, the technology has been constantly refined and developed, and today a motor with more than 20 years of proven reliability is used in LG’s professional washing machines.

Ash with multiple heat treatment
Multiple heat treatment increases durability and provides resistance to gradual wear. LG’s professional washing machines use a multi-heat-treated shaft to further extend its life.
No. 1 in energy conservation
LG’s professional washing machines are rated No. 1 in energy efficiency by Energy Star. This is possible thanks to the Inverter Direct Drive™ motor, which uses 25.4% less energy than a conventional belt-and-pulley motor.
Gyro Balancing System
The Gyro Balancing System ensures maximum stability even at high spin speeds. Through advanced gyro sensors, every movement of the drum is continuously measured and corrected. The system recognizes unbalanced loads early and automatically adjusts rotation to minimize vibrations.
The result is quieter, more stable and durable operation – with less wear and tear on bearings, suspension and chassis. Thanks to this intelligent balance control, LG Giant and Titan washing machines remain efficient and reliable, even with intensive daily use in professional environments.
3D Gyro Sensor
This ensures accurate detection and full understanding of the movement of the drum during the washing process – especially during the spin cycle.
Dual Spin Algorithm & Quattro Damping System
The Dual Spin algorithm features two modes: normal sensor mode and hyper-sensor mode. Depending on the installation environment, the optimal mode can be selected to minimize noise and vibration.
Is short turnaround time important (such as in a laundromat), select Normal Sensing Mode. Is low vibration or low noise crucial (such as in an apartment or dorm/dorm), select Hyper Sensing Mode.
With four 80N dampers, the dampening system absorbs vibrations from the tub and provides controlled, optimized movement during the spin cycle.

Removable front cover
Because both the LG Giant and Titan professional washers and dryers can be disassembled from the front of the unit, most maintenance and service work can be done right on site – without moving the unit.
External fuse
The Main PCB (Main PCB) fuse is located outside the circuit board and is located separately. This makes it easy to replace the fuse without having to replace the entire main PCB. This saves time and cost in repairs.
Intensive drum cleaning cycle
A dirty drum after prolonged use can affect washing performance and hygiene.
LG’s exclusive Intensive Clean Cycle thoroughly cleans and disinfects the drum by refilling it and using a powerful stream of water to remove all remaining residue from the drum surface.
This keeps the washing machine perfectly clean and fresh for the next user.
