But one must think outside of the box and innovate. That’s part of the reason why we created a new way to stay up to date of what happens in the laundry. 1.   Order Parts straight from your phone

The Vartex App has a built-in store for spare parts. Currently, parts are supplied by Vartex. Buts soon, third-party distributors join the platform and will have their own marketplace. These third-party distributors can apply for their own store, exclusive to their customers.

The vision behind the mobile store is simple. When you need a spare part ASAP, you should be able to pull out your phone and click to order the part, wherever you are (even at home with the kids). Really, the ordering process is that simple.

2.  Check your machine’s performance

Our customers know how specific our management dashboard, Laundry Intelligence, is. In fact, it’s the world’s most advanced laundry intelligence software. But imagine the core functions of Laundry Intelligence in mobile form. Well, we integrated those in the Vartex App. When you open the app, you see a summary of your machinery’s performance and the most common errors.

3.  Plan & Solve Maintenance 

With the Vartex App, you can schedule maintenance and receive a notification when it’s time. And once you’ve completed the maintenance, you can tell the app. In the “checking off” section, there’s also an option to order the parts that you need. Again, it’s all about making things simpler. 

4.  Access Machine Documentation

Have you ever read a book or article on your phone? Chances are that you have. So, why not read a manual, handbook, part list. etc. on your smart phone? Often, we need these books when we’re standing in front of a piece of equipment. How nice would it be having them in your pocket?

5.  Receive Error Notifications

When something goes wrong, you need to know as soon as possible, so you can solve it before things get worse. That’s why the Vartex App sends push notifications if there’s an alarm. Think of an emergency stop, door lock failure, unbalance, etc. You’ll be the first to know, wherever you are (with an internet connection, of course).

In the Smart Laundry one can match water usage with the exact load (on condition that a water meter is installed). So, the next time you load a 50KG washer with less than the maximum capacity, your water level will match your exact load. In other words, excessive water usage is history. Vartex Smart Control, a universal control for all washers, lets you do exactly this.

In order to make these adjustments, the Laundry Intelligence dashboard allows you to diagnose what needs to change. If your dryers are using excessive gas or your washers waste water, the dashboard visualizes the excessive usage. Subsequently, adjustments can be made on the machines.

Minimize Mistakes Through Smart Control

When operators require less interaction with the operating system, mistakes are less likely to occur. In Smart Control’s PLC powered control, operators can easily select programs from a touchscreen. These programs are made once and uploaded to the system. And they can be adjusted easily.

Met de Vartex App krijgen wasserijen een one-stop-location. Wasserijpersoneel kan de prestaties van machines controleren, toegang krijgen tot machinedocumentatie, op de hoogte worden gebracht van storingen, onderhoud plannen/oplossen en een overzicht krijgen van machines en orderhistorie. Als er iets misgaat, moet u dit zo snel mogelijk weten zodat u het kunt oplossen voordat het erger wordt. Daarom stuurt de Vartex App pushmeldingen als er een alarm is. Denk aan een noodstop, deurslotstoring, onbalans, enz. U bent de eerste die het weet.
